Children and Adolescents

"Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression."

— Dr. Haim Ginott

In my work with children and adolescents, I create a safe and supportive environment where they can openly express their feelings and thoughts. I help them with life's challenges—whether it’s school stress, peer relationships, or emotional struggles—using a supportive ear and coping strategies. Together, we identify negative thought patterns and work to replace them with healthier, more positive ways of thinking. My hope is to empower young people to build resilience, gain confidence, and develop the skills they need to manage their emotions and thrive in their daily lives.

Young Adults

"But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself—to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them."

-Laura Gottleib

Working with young adults, I focus on helping them navigate the transitions and difficulties that can come with “growing up” and the complexities of adulthood. Whether it’s managing the pressures of academic life, building career paths, or exploring relationships, I provide a supportive space for self-exploration and growth. We’ll work through uncertainties, build confidence, and develop tools for making decisions, managing stress, and engaging in healthy, fulfilling relationships. I love to help young adults feel more grounded as they find their way through this exciting and sometimes overwhelming stage of life.

Parent Support

"Children don’t need perfect parents, they need parents who are willing to show up and be present, who listen and offer guidance with love."

— Dr. Laura Markham

I work closely with parents to support them with the challenges of raising children from toddlers through the teen years. Using a blend of behavior therapy techniques and fostering connection, I help parents develop effective strategies for managing behaviors, setting boundaries, and fostering positive parent-child relationships. Together, we explore individual parenting styles and work to create more balanced, compassionate approaches that support both the child’s growth and the parent’s well-being. My goal is to empower parents with practical tools while also guiding them in understanding their own needs and values, so they can feel confident in their parenting journey.
