"Therapy is not about fixing who you are; it's about uncovering the strength you already have to heal, grow, and thrive."
Hello, and welcome! My name is Alex, and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents and parents in Los Angeles. Born and raised here, I have a deep understanding of the challenges families face in our diverse and fast-paced community.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and my graduate degree from Loyola Marymount University (LMU). Driven by my passion for supporting young people, I focused on therapeutic approaches that help individuals recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, fostering emotional well-being and positive behavioral change.
With my background as a school counselor, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages, from kindergarten through high school. This experience has given me a unique perspective on the dynamics of school environments, peer relationships, and academic pressures—insights that inform my work with families and children. I also provide support to parents, helping them navigate the complexities of raising children through various stages of development and equip them with practical tools for fostering positive mental health.
Whether you are seeking support for your child or adolescent, or looking for guidance in strengthening family dynamics, I’m here to provide a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your challenges and work toward meaningful change. Together, we’ll build coping strategies, improve communication, and help you feel more empowered to handle life’s ups and downs.
I look forward to working with you and supporting your journey toward growth and healing.
